Newsfeeds of the day 30-10

- Apple doesn’t accept cash anymore to buy an iPhone Again a really great idea from the marketing department. If only they worried about the customers… This is bad publicity and will be canceled in the future, I’m sure.

-The Wall Street Journal reports that there will be a Google (powered) phone… I hope they wake up several company’s in that business!

- Living Dead Dolls pencil sharpener

Further I read a short article about net neutrality, or the lack of it. Seems that in the States, there’s this big control issue about the way the internet functions. I’m sure (pretty sure) that in Europe there won’t be such a control fight. If this is pushed through in the USA, it will have an effect on the way the internet functions. Charge extra for certain websites, slow others down etc. I hope that people wake up sooner than that and that the internet remains neutral!

Look at all these rumours, can’t take it no more…

There seems to be a hype about the Google phone again. Earlier this year it was reported (and denied to the max) that Google was developing a mobile phone.

Now the rumours are back and probably here to stay

Interesting video from the Scoble show, about emotional software design in games (and iPhone)… Some food for thoughts!

Brix, the Iphone killer design

29 08 2007

Now here’s a design for an iPhone killer: The Brix Phone

From their site: ‘Brix is a phone. The entire surface is a touchscreen. By stringing together multiple Brix, you expand the screen real estate. Suddenly video is bigger.’ They must have had the iPhone as an inspiration.

I don’t have an iPhone, as I’m in Europe, but this concept would make it seem out of date. At least, the size of the screen is as big a you want it to be… This is a great concept!
